ALBAWABA - A relentless aerial attack that has lasted for over two weeks resulted in the deaths of five paramedics on Friday as Israeli warplanes hit close to a hospital in Marjayoun, southern Lebanon.

The director of the Marjayoun Government Hospital, Dr. Munis Klaksh, said that the airstrike happened within five meters from the hospital's entrance. Thankfully, hospital employees did not report any injuries. Nevertheless, they chose to temporarily vacate the premises until the security situation could be evaluated.

Because to the continuous Israeli shelling in the area, the Lebanese Ministry of Health had already called for the evacuation of hospitals located in the suburbs of southern Beirut.

Israeli soldiers struck an ambulance in Marjayoun earlier in the day, resulting in the deaths of two paramedics, according to a report from Lebanon's National News Agency. According to other reports, an attack on a residential building in the southern Lebanon hamlet of Kharbat Selm claimed the lives of further paramedics.

Hezbollah verified that when paramedics were on duty in the southern suburbs of Beirut, an Israeli attack resulted in one paramedic's death and other injuries.

Over 40 emergency responders have died as a result of Israeli fire in the last three days, according to information released on Thursday by Lebanese Health Minister Firas Al-Abyad. This brings the total number of emergency workers killed since Hezbollah and Israel's hostilities escalated nearly a year ago to 97.

According to reports from the World Health Organization, Israeli military activities have resulted in the deaths of 73 health professionals in Lebanon.
