ALBAWABA- Israeli airstrikes targeted a building near Saraain in the Bekaa region of eastern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of two Lebanese individuals and injuries to 11 civilians. The strikes, which targeted the Bekaa region, caused significant damage and casualties, adding to the escalating tensions in the area.
In a separate incident, Lebanese army units discovered a drone belonging to the Israeli occupation armed with a missile. The drone had crashed and was destroyed under a public road in Harajel Al-Kesrouan as it was en route to carry out a raid in the Bekaa region.
The army dismantled the missile and worked on removing the damaged drone from the site.
Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli warplanes conducted raids on the valleys of Burgas and Al-Dalafa in the districts of Hasbaya and Wadi Al-Sluqi.
Additionally, Israeli artillery targeted several towns including Houla, Markaba, Al-Bassatin, and Al-Sirra.
Responding to the airstrikes, the Lebanese Hezbollah party launched a barrage of rockets from southern Lebanon towards sites in northern Palestine and the occupied Golan Heights.
This action triggered alarm sirens in settlements across the occupied Golan Heights and towns in the Hula Valley in Upper Galilee.
The Israeli army radio reported that approximately 100 rockets were launched from Lebanon, targeting the Golan Heights plateau, further exacerbating the volatile situation in the region.
