ALBAWABA - At least three police officers were killed in an Israeli airstrike east of Rafah city, Al Jazeera reported on Sunday.
The Qatari newspaper revealed that the attack that killed the three policemen took place during the distribution of aid.
Yedioth Ahronoth said citing an Israeli security source that the attack in Gaza was carried out against gunmen who were near our forces in the Rafah area.
The Israeli Army wrote on X that earlier on Sunday, an Air Force jet targeted attacked several "militants who were moving towards IDF forces" in the southern Gaza Strip. The army added that "casualties were identified."
It also urged Gaza citizens to be strict to "IDF instructions and not approach the forces deployed in the area."
