ALBAWABA - After being reopened following a 2-day closure, Israel closed the King Hussein Bridge (Allenby Crossing) and forced passengers and the buses carrying them to return to Jordan.

Earlier, Jordan's Bridges Security Department of the Public Security Directorate announced the reopening of the King Hussein Bridge (Allenby Crossing) to passenger traffic on Sunday, Sept. 21.

The King Hussein Bridge, also known as the Karameh crossing, has been closed since Thursday afternoon following the shooting attack that killed two Israeli soldiers.

According to Al Mamlaka's Sunday report, Jordan reopened the King Hussein Bridge (Allenby Crossing) for passengers. However, cargo crossing will remain closed until further notice, but the Israeli authorties reclosed it for an unknown reason.
