The body of Yitzhak Kvartatz, Israel’s security officer at Kibbutz Menara near the Lebanese border, was found Monday, five days after he was last seen, reported Haaretz newspaper, quoting the Army Radio.
It said that Kvartatz, 55, was probably murdered, but reasons for his killing were still unknown.
The body was found in a streambed south of the kibbutz, said the radio, adding that the kibbutz arms storehouse had been broken into, and several weapons were missing.
Police believe "hostile elements" forced Kvartezt to hand over the arms under threat, said the report – Albawaba.com
