Iran’s President Mohammad Khatami has assured Cyprus Foreign Minister Giorgos Iakovou that Tehran would continue to help in the framework of the Islamic Conference, to the best of its ability, the effort to find a negotiated settlement in Cyprus, CNA reported.
The assurances were given during Saturday’s meeting in Tehran, in which bilateral relations, the Middle East question, Iran-EU relations and other issues were being discussed. (Albawaba.com)
