ALBAWABA - A navy member was killed in U.S. airstrikes on Iran's Bandar-e Mahshahr city on Wednesday morning.
Iran's Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) announced in a statement on Wednesday to have hit dozens of American military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait.
"In an initial response to this aggression, the IRGC Navy and Aerospace Force carried out a joint missile and drone operation, striking 85 key U.S. military facilities" in the two countries, while also shooting down an MQ-9 drone, the statement read.
The U.S. military said it carried out strikes on Iran in response to attacks on cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz by the IRGC earlier.
On the other hand, Mediator Qatar called on the warring parties to de-escalate after Iran's attacks on the Gulf and U.S. airstrikes across Iran.
