Qader Mizbani, an Iranian cyclist, has become champion of the third stage of the Saudi International Contests, Iran's Cycling Federation announced on Sunday, quoted by Iran’s news agency (IRNA).
The third stage of the international contests was held in individual time-trail on Saturday.
Following the Iranian champion a cyclist from the Czech Republic and an Egyptian won the second and third places, respectively, according to the agency.
An Iranian cycling team also won the second stage of the tournament and with a record of 11:06:40 hours; it holds the best result after completing the third stage of the contests, according to IRNA.
A British and a Saudi team ranked second and third, respectively, at this stage, said the report.
In the international contests, which will be held in seven stages cycling teams from Iran, Germany, Britain, Malaysia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Syria and Turkmenistan as well as three teams from the host country Saudi Arabia are participating – Albawaba.com
