Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said on Sunday that international organizations should hold emergency session to look into the Israel's nuclear issue.

"A state of emergency should be announced and the international organizations should hold an emergency meeting to look into the issue," said Hosseini in his weekly press conference when asked to comment on Israel's acknowledgement of having nuclear weapons.

Hosseini said the announcement unveiled the true nature of the Zionist regime.

Meanwhile, he assessed as "illogical" measures adopted by Western states on Iran's nuclear case.

"Iran has repeatedly stressed that negotiations are the best solution to remove ambiguities.

"Iran's peaceful nuclear activities have logical, human and legal basis and are based on international regulations but the West adopted an irrational stance on Iran's peaceful nuclear program," he said, according to IRNA
