Iran has received a letter from foreign ministers of the so-called EU3, declaring their readiness to take up nuclear negotiations from where they were left in August, the country's top security body said on Sunday.
The letter signed by British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw and his French and German counterparts Philippe Douste-Blazy and Frank-Walter Steinmeier was a response to an invitation by Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani to resume the negotiations. According to IRNA, the letter was delivered by the three countries' ambassadors to Tehran in a meeting with the SNSC deputy head, Javad Vaeedi, held on Sunday, the council said in a statement.
