A new power plant with a capacity of 1.3MW will be built on a southern Iranian island, an official said Tuesday.
The project will be set up by a company affiliated with the ministry of industries and mines, Valieddin Maslehati, advisor to the energy minister, told the official Iranian news agency, IRNA.
He said that all equipment for the power plant had been purchased from domestic factories with licenses from credible multinational companies.
The power plant will be compatible with the ecosystem of the island, he added – Albawaba.com
