Iran announced on Sunday during the first gathering for Iran’s managers of forensic science centers that it will build the largest forensic science laboratory in the Middle East.
The chairman of Iran's Forensic Science Organization, Mahfouzi was quoted by Tehran Times as saying that the forensic scientists should be experienced and that one of the main objectives of the organization was to raise the level of science and technology in the country.
He cited the long-term goal of the organization is to reduce mistakes by upgrading equipment of the laboratories in every province.
He added that in less than one year, the largest forensic science laboratory in the Middle East will be built in Tehran and other forensic science centers in Kermanshah, Isfahan and Mazandaran provinces will be upgraded – Albawaba.com
