Intel Developer Forum attracts support from diverse industry sectors Sponsors lend support to regional IT development

Intel's key technology event, the Intel Developer Forum (IDF), to be held on May 24 at the Intercontinental Citystars in Cairo under the patronage of Egypt's Ministry of Communication and Information (MCIT), has attracted interest from several hundred regional IT players. Designed to provide vital technology insights and impart learning, the event is sponsored by leading technology organisations, such as Microsoft as platinum sponsor, Hewlett Packard as gold sponsor and CAIRA as technology sponsor.

Also providing support as silver sponsors are IBM and El Araby Co. for Trading and Manufacturing Office Equipment & Computer Sector.  Acer is the lottery sponsor and Al Hayat is the media sponsor.

Exhibitors at this year’s IDF include Boraq for Electronic Industries, Redline Communications Inc., EConnect, Shadi System, ISIS (Information Systems International Services), Harf Information Technology, Microtech, and ValueSYS.

Intel Corporation will be present through Intel® Innovation Centres, Software and Solutions Group, Digital Enterprise Group, and Channel Platforms Group.

The key technology focus areas that will be covered at the IDF include – Digital Enterprise, Mobility, and The Digital Home, while the technical sessions include Channel Platform Technologies and Trends, Digital Enterprise, New Technologies, Software Solutions and Tool, Software Technology Labs and Mobile Platform and Wireless.
