ALBAWABA-Hezbollah’s Deputy Political Chief, Mahmoud Qomati, announced plans for a public funeral for Martyr Hassan Nasrallah, positioning it as a symbolic referendum endorsing the resistance movement.

In a press conference held in Beirut's southern suburb, Qomati hailed the resistance's perseverance, declaring, "After two months of steadfast struggle, we have achieved victory. The enemy has failed to accomplish any of its objectives."

He emphasized that Hezbollah’s resilience in southern Lebanon not only thwarted Israeli plans but also disrupted broader regional aggression, describing the developments as "a triumph for Arab national security."

Qomati acknowledged the loyalty and sacrifices of the resistance's supporters, pledging continued dedication to their cause.

He announced that the funerals of Martyrs Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine would demonstrate public and political backing for Hezbollah’s mission.

He further assured efforts to address prisoner issues and reconstruction, framing the enemy's inability to achieve its goals as a significant victory.

Qomati also reaffirmed Hezbollah’s unconditional commitment to Palestine, recognizing it as a central cause and promising continued support, to be determined based on future needs.

He attributed the victory to three pillars: the resistance's strength, the official political stance, and the steadfast support of its community.
