Algerian ecurity sources said Sunday Islamist gunmen killed eight people in an attack in western Algeria, AFP reported.
The attack took place at Boukaat El Maqam near Ain Merrane in the Chlef region, 200 kilometers west of the capital Algiers at 4:00 am (0300 GMT).
