Gulf Craft Inc, the Middle East’s largest yacht builder, is this year’s biggest Middle Eastern exhibitor at the world’s number one international boat and yacht show. Gulf Craft, marked its presence at Düsseldorf 2007 by exhibiting its Majesty 50 and Majesty 66 models for the first time in Germany.

Of nearly 1,700 exhibitors at this year’s Düsseldorf show, the UAE based company is one of only a handful of companies worldwide capable of producing vessels of 100 ft and over. Gulf Craft chose to celebrate its 25th anniversary at Düsseldorf by presenting two complete vessels at the show which boasts a large number of international visitors.

“This show has been so successful for us in previous years that we felt the time was right to present the genuine article and not just models, videos, and visual material,” said Gulf Craft executive manager Erwin Bamps.

“In the past, prospective customers have made the trip to the UAE to experience our yachts first-hand. Now, they will be able to do that on the spot.”

“The Majesty 50 and Majesty 66 epitomise the quality of workmanship and luxury of design and fittings that have become synonymous with Gulf Craft. The Majesty vessels are the ideal models to showcase at Düsseldorf 2007 – an event that sets the benchmark for the industry as a whole.”

The Majesty 50 is the culmination of design skill and craftsmanship and is born to perform and to impress. The yacht features a comfortable saloon and dining area on the main deck along with powerful, but muffled twin-set of 500 hp engines.

The elegant Majesty 66 is a fly-bridge motor yacht with a definite taste for exclusivity. Exceptional in a multitude of aspects, this yacht is truly trend-setting through innovative exterior styling and interior finishing. It features four carefully laid out spacious bedrooms and an equal number of bathrooms and is the ideal vessel to entertain guests.

Many of the 300,000 international visitors expected at this year’s exhibition have already taken the local company to heart and Bamps is confident that having two Majesty yachts for prospective customers to examine will prove a big draw card.

“This is the seventh consecutive year Gulf Craft has exhibited at Düsseldorf. In previous years we have generated extensive sales leads that have been converted to firm orders, just from models and visuals. Now that buyers will be able to experience the real thing, I’m sure we will have an even better response,” Bamps continued.

With yards in Ajman and Umm al-Qaiwain, Gulf Craft now exports more than 70 per cent of its output of 600 vessels a year. Although Gulf Craft began life building small pleasure craft, it is now a mainstream producer of multi-deck masterpieces where neither expense nor effort are spared in setting the definitive ‘state of the art’ standard for ocean-going luxury. In addition, the UAE based company has embarked on a considerable growth phase that expands production capacity, staff numbers, and export market penetration.

Gulf Craft’s global profile is becoming increasingly prominent through participation in more and more international boat shows. And its super luxury vessels can be found in virtually every harbour of the world.

After years of being the largest exhibitor at the Dubai International Boat Show – the launch pad for the company’s successful entry to export markets – Gulf Craft began taking part in events further a field, regularly participating at Düsseldorf, as well as the Cannes, Monaco, and Beirut boat shows.

Since then, Gulf Craft has been highly visible at shows in Australia, New Zealand, Croatia, and Russia.
