German Trade Delegation Visits Oman

A German Trade Delegation headed by a State Economic Affairs Undersecretary arrived in Muscat on Saturday on a four-day visit to Oman, according to Oman News Agency. 

 

The delegation includes officials from several operating companies working in such fields as energy, electricity, building materials, petrochemicals, chemical materials, training institutes, schools, universities, oil and gas industry, vehicles, travel and tourism, stationary, printing and engineering. 

 

Sheikh Abdullah bin Salim al-Rowas, President of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will head the Omani side during the trade talks with the German delegation, scheduled to take place on Sunday at the OCCI. 

 

During the meetings, aspects of economic and trade cooperation between Oman and Germany as well as the possibility of increasing trade exchange and investment opportunities available in both countries will be reviewed. (Albawaba.com)
