Gabonese President Omar Bongo will pay his first visit to Russia this week since Libreville and Moscow established diplomatic ties in 1973, his office said Sunday.
Bongo, who was to leave Libreville overnight Sunday, will spend three days in Russia during which he will meet President Vladimir Putin to discuss bilateral cooperation and conflicts in the central African region.
