Five Palestinian children were burnt to death Sunday, in their tent in the Gaza Strip, after a candle fell and inflamed a cooking oil bottle, which set the place on fire. This tragedy occurred while the small children were still in their sleep, according to hospital officials.
The young children’s mother and an additional child were not expected to survive after suffering from burns over 90% of their small bodies. Their father lost the use of his legs in the fire, in the early hours of Sunday’s chilly morning.
The family of eleven had been living in Khan Younis Refugee camp until last month, when they had to leave their home that was damaged during Israeli-Palestinian fire exchange. They moved to a tent in the nearby village of Bani Suheila. (Albawaba.com)
