ALBAWABA- A significant fire has erupted at Blackpool Tower, a cherished seaside landmark, with flames visible near the top of the structure.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) has deployed six fire engines and a "rope rescue" team to address the incident. Lancashire Police are also on-site.
Authorities are urging the public to avoid the area and refrain from flying drones, as these activities could hinder emergency operations.
The iconic tower, standing at 158 meters (519 feet) and constructed between 1891 and 1894, is now facing a firefighting.
However, In an update on the earlier reported incident, it has been revealed that the perceived 'fire' at Blackpool Tower was, in fact, fluttering orange netting.
