A fire blazed at an American fast-food restaurant in the southern Red Sea port of Aqaba on Sunday, causing material damage. There were no reported casualties, according to a police source.
"The fire erupted in the afternoon in the basement of Pizza Hut but it does not appear to be of criminal nature," the source said, according to AFP.
Nevertheless, Jordanian authorities have launched an investigation into the matter to determine the cause of the blaze, which was quickly put out by firefighters in Aqaba, the source added.(Albawaba.com)
