An explosion went off Tuesday morning in the courtyard of a
Palestinian school in the West Bank village of Yatta, and five Palestinian students were injured, police and witnesses said.
The blast went off as school was in session, witnesses said. The school is located at the Ziff junction, south of Hebron.
A second explosive device was later found in the school and safely detonated. The Israeli army said it was investigating the possibility that the blast was the result of an attack carried out by settlers.

Israeli forces destroyed nine weapons workshops and conducted house-to-house searches for Palestinian activists early Tuesday in the Khan Younis refugee camp, the army said.
In a broad sweep into a Palestinian-ruled neighborhood in the Gaza refugee camp, the army said its forces detained 23 Palestinians.
Palestinian security officials in Khan Younis said soldiers had searched more than 50 houses in the five-hour raid and arrested at least 18 people. They said several were later released and between 10 and 13 people remained in Israeli custody.
The Israeli soldiers destroyed two metal workshops and damaged a car garage and several textile and plastics factories, Palestinian security said.
In addition, Israeli troops blew up the two-story house of Yusef Agha, whose son, a member of Hamas, was killed eight months ago during an attack on an Israeli settlement near Khan Younis, the officials said.
Soldiers also searched the home of Younis Astal, a professor at the Islamic University in Gaza and a Hamas supporter, the security officials said, according to AP. Astal was not home at the time, but troops arrested three of his relatives, the officials added. (Albawaba.com)
