eSys Technologies, the fastest growing IT component distribution network in the world, has announced the launch of a wireless audio system for cars, under its eCube brand of IT accessories. The new device is an FM transmitter with a built-in MP3 player and plays all audio devices wirelessly through the car’s stereo system using the FM tuner.
Unlike most other FM transmitters currently on the market which have only one line-in, this device comes with a USB port and an internal MP3 decoder for use with non-audio USB flash disks, making it an MP3 player cum FM transmitter.
This device from eCube is also extremely easy to operate. The device needs to be plugged into the vehicle’s 12v cigarette lighter jack, after which the user can insert a USB drive loaded with MP3 files, via the USB port of the device. The user then needs to select one of the FM presets and tune the radio to the same frequency, before being able to listen to non-stop MP3 music. This device can also be used to play audio files from CD and DVD players by using audio cables and plugging audio devices with the headphone jack on the modulator.

The eCube FM transmitter has a sound ratio of 90db, frequency response range of 20Hz-20KHz and an audio sampling rate ranging between 32-256 kbps. As it uses power from the car to operate, the user does not have to worry about running out of batteries.
