Egyptian sailors arrested for throwing Moroccans off ship

Three Egyptian sailors, members of a Georgian-registered ship, were arrested last weekend in eastern Spain on charges of throwing two Moroccan illegal passengers into the sea, the Maghreb Arabe Presse reported on Tuesday.  

 

Last Monday, two Moroccans, who illegally embarked on the ship at the Casablanca port were thrown to the sea by the three sailors. A Spanish boat eventually saved them and the three Egyptian sailors were arrested for attempted murder.
