Egyptian presidential adviser Osama al-Baz said on Monday that United States efforts to oust Iraqi President Saddam Hussein would set a "serious precedent", according to MENA news agency.
"If the United States is seeking, through its campaign against Iraq, to overthrow the regime in power, that would amount to a serious precedent," said President Hosni Mubarak's chief adviser.
Al-Baz said such a campaign would be "contrary to the sovereignty of states and the right of people to self-determination." (Albawaba.com)
