The Egyptian Minister of Manpower and Immigration, Ahmed Al Amawi, announced that his ministry secured last year 80,000 new jobs for trained Egyptians in various specialties to work in the other Arab countries, the daily Al Ahram said.
The move has come in response to meet the Arab countries’ need for Egyptian manpower within the framework of the technical cooperation between Egypt and these countries, the minister said.
“The government has secured these jobs as part of its policy to provide job opportunities for the youth inside Egypt and abroad and in order to alleviate the problem of unemployment. These jobs include the medical, administrative and technical fields in some Arab countries including Saudi Arabia, Libya, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.” -- Albawaba.com
