In a statement issued Wednesday, Egypt’s Foreign Affairs Council called on the international community to set up a tribunal to try suspected terrorists within the context of the "war on terrorism."
The Cairo-based Al Gomhuria newspaper quoted the statement as saying a world court would prevent disputes over jurisdiction, adding that forming an international coalition against terrorism was not enough to combat the problem.
