Twenty-six Canadian educational institutions will take part in the Global Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX), which will be held from November 16 to 18 at Beach Ratana Hotel and Towers in Abu Dhabi. Middle East Observer reports that Getex is making its debut in the emirate to cater to the higher education needs of the student population from more than 300 public schools and 180 private schools. Anselm Godinho, one of the organizers of Getex Abu Dhabi, said that Canada had always been rated as a high-level education provider in the overseas educational market for UAE students. The Algonquin College, the University of Seneca, the University of Windsor, Fleming College and Centennial College are among the prominent universities and colleges representing Canada in the Fair.
