A Dubai court has sentenced two Iranians and one Sri Lankan to life in jail for drug dealing, newspapers reported Monday.
The Iranians, whose identities were not revealed, were convicted of "possession and dealing drugs," after police seized heroin in their residence, Al-Khaleej wrote.
The Sri Lankan was found guilty of consuming and dealing drugs, while two compatriots in the same case were acquitted for "lack of proof," the paper added. A life term means 25 years in prison in Dubai. (Albawaba.com)
