The issue of Cyprus was among the various issues which US Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz and Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs, Marc Grossman discussed with Turkish Prime Minister Abdullah Gul in the capital of Ankara, according to Cyprus News Agency Tuesday.
Following the meeting, Wolfowitz said, according to the news agency, that Washington supports an “urgent and lasting solution to the Cyprus issue”. (Albawaba.com)
