Damascus Radio stressed on Sunday that the United States “regrettably deviated its role in combating terrorism” to “find itself as to cover up the Israeli terrorism.”
The state-run radio mocked the US description of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s terrorism as “self-defense” and of Sharon himself as “a man of peace”, SANA said. The Syrian radio warned against Israeli disastrous schemes as to transfer the Palestinians at a moment of explosion in the region.
