Daesh militants targeted a position of the Syrian Arab army in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor Airport with shells containing poisonous gas.

Field sources told SANA reporter Monday night that Daesh used shells that contained mustard gas, pointing out that cases of suffocation were observed and treated immediately.

Earlier on Monday, Daesh used some 17 car bombs in their attempts to attack the airport and the army destroyed them all, killing and injuring scores of militants.
