Chairman of the Supreme Elections Committee (SEC) Khalid Abdulwhab al-Shareef met in Sanaa on Sunday with the director of the American Democratic Institute ADI's bureau in the Yemen capital, Roben Madreed, SABA news agency reported.
In the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the committee and the institute.
In addition, al-Shareef discussed the preparations for the next elections, in particular, the voter registration stage.
For her part, Madreed confirmed the commitment of the American Democratic Institute for supporting democracy in Yemen and cooperating with the committee in fields of training and awareness spreading amongst voters and political parties. (Albawaba.com)
