Three top opposition leaders are together in Baghdad to discuss how they will work together to rebuild Iraq. They are Ahmad Chalabi of the Iraqi National Congress, Massoud Barzani of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and Jalal Talabani of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. The three met Wednesday night and are to meet again Thursday.

On his part, Chalabi said on Thursday that growing frustration about the disruption to basic services in Iraq could prompt new bouts of violence.

He also told Reuters an Iraqi force should be set up to patrol towns and cities.

"There is definitely a building resentment at the lack of services. This situation is critical because people are complaining and you may get acts of violence happening," he said, adding that many people did not have water and were not being paid salaries. (Albawaba.com)
