CargoGulf sets up global head office in Singapore

CargoGulf, a global neutral NVOCC (Non-vessel operating common carrier) operator today announced its plan to establish its global headquarters in Singapore.

Riding on its 20-year plus experience in the NVOCC industry, CargoGulf will fully utilise its base in Singapore as an ideal trans-shipment hub. Already boosting a strong presence in the Middle East, CargoGulf further expansion plans in the pipeline include the setting up of operational offices in UK, USA, Hong Kong, and aims to become one of the few “truly global NVOCC’s” with headquarters in Asia.

Operational from 1 January 2007, CargoGulf will focus on its core products of providing transportation services as a neutral NVOCC and Liner Principal. Its portfolio includes Groupage services, FCL Container "Box" services and General FCL services. CargoGulf operates its own fleet of containers and provide liner services between Asia, Indian Subcontinent and the Middle East. It also operates global Groupage services to Europe, Mediterranean, Middle East and USA.
