Member of the National Iraqi Society, Baha Al Arji on Thursday called for voting to lift the parliamentary immunity from former Iraqi Defence Minister, Hazem Al Sha'lan. Mr. Arji said during the Society's meeting that his request was based on new documents, which determine that Mr. Al-Shalan's was involved in corruption cases and worked for the secret service under the deposed regime of Saddam Hussein.
