Police in Dubai have arrested an alleged burglar who stole from houses in Al Mazhar and Murdif areas of the city. The arrest was made after police received various reports of thefts in those areas. According to Police, as many as four cases were reported to them in one day.
Reports claim the man only wore undergarments during the alleged crimes! During interrogation, he told police that he took off his clothes so that he won’t be spotted in the dark.
Khaleej Times reports that after police received information saying that the suspect’s whereabouts were in Frij Al Marar, they stormed his residence and caught him. Some of the stolen items, which included mobile phones and jewelry, were found in his place.
The Asian suspect, identified as R.Q., was involved in seventeen burglar cases according to the Police. After being caught, the suspect confessed to have committed all the robberies. He told police that he had entered Dubai illegally around three months ago. Charges of robbery and illegal entry and stay were filed against him. (Albawaba.com)
