The Algerian university "has to review its modes of functioning and organization and its programs as well...to be more modernized" and to be ready to listen to "its social environment and to the citizen’s concerns," Algeria's President Abdelaziz Bouteflika said Saturday. According to APS, in his opening speech at the 3rd national universities scientific week, the President declared: "University is, for everyone's interest, to review its modes of functioning and organisation, to implement rules of good governance and to increase its management performance."
