At least 18 people are killed and 53 others are injured in bomb attacks in different neighborhoods in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
No group or individual has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks. However, the Daesh group have in the past claimed responsibility for similar attacks.

According to the UN mission, the number of civilian fatalities stood at 537. Violence also claimed the lives of 180 members of the Iraqi security forces. A great portion of the fatalities was recorded in Baghdad, where 257 civilians were killed.
