ALBAWABA - Joseph Attieh breaks silence on his relationship status.

Lebanese singer Joseph Attieh has officially confirmed that he is in love, ending months of speculation about his relationship status during a candid interview with ET Bil Arabi ahead of his performance at the Beirut Holidays Festival. The announcement came after more than a year and a half of repeated questions about his personal life, making it one of the most talked-about entertainment moments in Lebanon.

The interview began on a light-hearted note as presenter Nada Akiki played clips from Attieh's previous ET Bil Arabi interviews, reminding him of his earlier promise that he would announce his relationship once "the time was right." Smiling, the singer finally fulfilled that promise, saying simply, "It's settled" ("Khalas Zabat"), confirming that he is now in a relationship. When asked for further details, however, Attieh laughed and declined to reveal any additional information about the person he is dating.

The announcement came just hours before Attieh took the stage at the Beirut Holidays Festival, where his concert attracted a full house after tickets sold out. The performance became even more closely watched because Miss Lebanon Perla Harb was seated in the front row. During the show, Attieh appeared genuinely surprised when he noticed her in the audience, greeting her warmly from the stage by saying, "Miss Lebanon is here? Hi Perla... I really didn't know... I was surprised."

Before the concert, presenter Nada Akiki jokingly asked Attieh whether he felt extra nervous knowing someone "he likes very much" would be watching him perform. The singer avoided discussing his private life further, instead saying he was simply excited to meet the audience and couldn't wait for the concert to begin.

Perla Harb also spoke with ET Bil Arabi during the event, revealing that one of the songs she was most looking forward to hearing was "Maghroum" ("In Love"), describing it as one of her favourite Joseph Attieh songs since its release. She praised the singer's stage presence and said his concerts continue to improve every year, adding that she was happy to attend the performance.

The evening featured more than just music. Members of Attieh's family were seen celebrating alongside the audience, joining in traditional Lebanese dabke dancing and creating a warm, family atmosphere throughout the concert. One of the night's most touching moments came when the singer noticed his mother enthusiastically cheering after every song. Smiling, he paused to tell the audience that every time he finished performing, he would look over and see his mother celebrating with pride, prompting an emotional reaction from concertgoers.

Attieh's confirmation has also renewed interest in recent speculation linking him to Perla Harb. Earlier this year, both Attieh and Harb publicly denied being in a romantic relationship, explaining that they are simply friends who share mutual acquaintances and respect each other. Their previous statements were intended to put an end to widespread rumours circulating on social media.

Although Joseph Attieh has now confirmed that he is in love, he has chosen to keep the identity of his partner private. For now, the singer appears determined to let his music remain the main focus, while fans continue celebrating both his personal happiness and another successful Beirut Holidays performance.
