Belgian defense minister, Andre Flahaut has decided to postpone a planned Gulf tour because of the deteriorating security conditions in Macedonia, reported the official KUNA news agency.
A diplomat told the agency that Flahaut decided to postpone his three-state tour following escalation of hostilities between Macedonian forces and ethnic Albanians in many parts of the Balkan republic.
Flahaut was scheduled to visit Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Yemen to expand defense ties, said KUNA.
