A four-year-old Bahraini boy drowned in a septic tank near his house in Diraz village near Manama on Friday, reported the Gulf Daily News.
Neighbors had launched a search for Firas Abdulmonem, who was last seen waiting for his father outside his home, said the paper.
A neighbor jumped into the tank to try and rescue Firas after his sandals were seen floating in the water.
His body was taken to the Sulmaniya Medical Complex before burial, it added – Albawaba.com
