Three new colleges including a college for girls are to be built at Bahrain University, reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN) on Monday.
The BD12 million (about $32m) expansion will also include a community service college and an information technology college, said the paper.
The project, to be built on a 36.6 sq metre site, was approved at a Cabinet session. Interior Minister and head of the ministerial committee for public utilities Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa was quoted as saying that the BD12m would cover the building costs, the provision of all equipment and the cost of all infrastructure services – Albawaba.com
