Iran will host the Asian under 21 Bowling and Billiard Championship in May 2006. Iran’s Bowling and Billiard Federation Gholam-Reza Mehr-Abdollahi said that they were happy to host such an important event adding that their main goal was to promote bowling in the country. 2005 edition of the Asian U-21 was held in Bahrain.
