Armed men shot and injured a guard at the villa of an Egyptian diplomat in Khartoum, Sudan after trying to burgle his home and steal his car, the Egyptian embassy said Tuesday.
An embassy spokesman said the group escaped empty-handed before Sudanese police arrived at the home of Mahmud Ezzat, the second in charge at the embassy, after the incident at the weekend took place. (Albawaba.com)
