Algerian troops have killed three "terrorists" in the region of Ain Saleh in Tminrast located some 1,970 kilometers south of the Algerian capital, security sources said on Monday.
According to them, the three were members of the "Salafi group for daawa and fighting." They added that army troops were involved in an ongoing wide-scale raid in the region, in search for other suspects, KUNA reported.
The government forces deployed reinforcement troops in the region to seal off susepcted hideouts. The sources added that the national security forces disbanded a network of 16 "terrorists," specialized in killing and counterfieting official papers in Braikah, Batnah, 435 east of the capital.
