Algerian President cables Moroccan King; renews desire for better relations

Algeria’s President, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, has renewed his country’s desire to consolidate relations with Morocco, the official Maghreb Arabe Press reported on Saturday. 

 

This was conveyed in a message of congratulations the Algerian President sent to Moroccan King Mohammed VI on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. 

 

According to MAP, President Bouteflika expressed his “constant interest to endeavor with you with a view to reinforcing our deep relations and enlarge their horizons to materialize the aspirations of our two peoples to a dignified life within solidarity, complementarily and fraternity.” 

 

The Algerian leader also renewed “full readiness to continue the action that we already started to materialize our peoples’ aspirations to build a Grand Arab Maghreb where prosperity and wellbeing prevail.” (Albawaba.com)
