Editor-in-Chief of Egypt's Al-Ahram weekly has died.
Hosny Gendy, who served in this position ever since he helped found the English-language publication in 1991, has died of pneumonia at the age of 63.
Gendy, who had suffered lung problems for years, died
Sunday and was buried in Cairo Monday.
"He was hiding his pain from his closest colleagues,"
his weekly's sister publication, the Arabic-language
