Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday said that Tehran is determined to restore its nuclear right and that Iranians will not withdraw from their legal right slightly.
Speaking to the people of Dasht-e Azadegan, he said that "thanks God Almighty and due to efforts of the Iranian nation, peaks of honor have been conquered by the Iranian youth one after another so that the enemies will not be able to prevent the country's progress and development."
He assured the US, Britain and their followers that Iran is not afraid of them. "They can hardly impose their illegal intentions on the Iranian people. They should know that the Iranians will slap in the face of every bullying power with their fists.
"Those who did not achieve their goals during the eight-year Iraqi-impose war and whose threats and embargoes failed are now trying to prevent the nation's progress under the pretext of campaign for human rights and rejection of nuclear weapons," said the president.
Criticizing the stance of international bodies such as the United Nations and its Security Council, he said, "The bullying of some world powers in the nuclear field is an example of self-centered management in the world of today.
"The current problems facing humanity in the management of such bullying forces is rooted in international bodies.
"The enemies believe that if they issue resolutions against the Iranian nation, they can manage to make Iran give up its rights by exerting psychological pressures on and launching propaganda campaign against it," he added.
Meanwhile, Ahmadinejad said that the fate of former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein was a lesson for all dictators of the world.
"The Iranian people and all free nations in the world are happy with execution of a criminal. Rulers who stand against their nation and are at service of bullying powers will face similar fate," he said, according to IRNA.
Ahmadinejad also urged occupiers to speed up withdrawal from Iraq and said, "Occupiers intend to use Saddam's execution as a tool to escalate sectarian violence in Iraq.
"The message of the Iranian people for regional nations is that a sustainable peace and security will be achieved by the governments in the region themselves."
He added, "Today, our enemies who could not reach their goals in their eight-year imposed war, are against development and progress of Iranians in disguise of advocating human rights and opposing with nuclear weapons."
