Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Saturday that his country is in favor of dialogue with all states, except Israel, and wisdom does not call for compromising legitimate rights.
According to IRNA, he told a press conference in Bali that every nation sets condition for dialogue. "If they wanted to fly an airplane full of bombs overhead and say okay, let's go on with dialogue, we will not accept."
Asked to comment on Iranian nuclear program, President Ahmadinejad said that Iran has a transparent program to produce nuclear energy. "If someone claims that it is not so, they should bring evidence (to support it). They do not like to respect the legitimate rights of the Iranians as enshrined in the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). They have lost temperament."
He said that his letter to US President George W. Bush was on the basis of modern literature of promoting justice and religious values. "The letter was somewhat a call for lofty teachings of holy prophets (peace be upon them), peace and tranquility on the basis of divine religions," he said.
"Today, people are embracing religions and irrespective of what the big powers want, the international community is moving toward truth and divine values."
